SP Sikar Launches "Mission Suraksha": 150 AI-Enabled CCTV Cameras Deployed Across City Junctions
Sikar District Police has upgraded the city surveillance architecture with 150 high-definition PTZ and ANPR cameras connected directly to the central Abhay Command and Control Center.
Enhancing Public Safety in Sikar
In a significant enhancement of city surveillance and rapid response capability, Superintendent of Police, Sikar, today flagged off "Mission Suraksha" from the District Police Lines.
The project integrates 150 newly installed smart CCTV cameras situated across sensitive intersections, commercial marketplaces, school zones, and entry/exit arteries of Sikar town.
Key Highlights of Mission Suraksha
- Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR): Instant alerts for stolen vehicles, suspicious number plates, or vehicles involved in hit-and-run incidents.
- 24x7 Abhay Command Center Monitoring: A dedicated squad of trained officers monitors feeds live with direct radio integration with Chetak police patrol vehicles.
- Crowd Management & Night Vision: High-powered infrared sensors ensure clear surveillance even in pitch-black conditions across Bajor Road, Piprali Road, and Salasar Road junctions.
"With Mission Suraksha, response time to any citizen distress call in the city will drop to under 5 minutes," stated the Superintendent of Police during the press conference.
